The Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity has proudly chosen Breast Cancer Awareness and Education as our National Philanthropy. We have partnered with Komen for the Cure-Breast Cancer Foundation, so that funds we raise through our annual philanthropy events such as New Member Lip Sync, King of the Campus, Kiss Away Breast Cancer and the generous donations we receive are sent directly towards finding a cure through the ZTA Foundation.
You may not know but about 1 out of 4 of women has the possibility of being directly affected by breast cancer. Many more of us will be affected indirectly. That's why it is the important role of each ZTA to plan and organize events each year that will help our fraternity raise money, as well as awareness for this cause.
The service Zetas do nationally and in their communities to support our philanthropy includes partnerships with Yoplait, the NFL, and Self Magazine.. Each year, Zetas also volunteer to help and run in Race for the Cure. Partnerships like these make our philanthropy unique and allow our work to stand out from the crowd.
